Fred is a 2 year old shepherd mix and probably the most well trained dog at Buddy as he spent some time getting trained at TOPS. Fred knows more commands than we can count and loves to show them off in exchange for a behind the ear scratch and some attention. Fred LOVES attention and he's not shy about rubbing up against you to ask for it.
Fred loves to play in the yard and can match energy with other dogs of his size. Fred requires a 6 ft fenced in yard as he can scale or jump anything shorter than that. He also needs an experienced handler who's willing to keep working with him on his training - he needs the structure to thrive.
Fred loves just about everyone he meets and has been with Buddy for far too long. We hope 2024 is the year he finally finds his home.
