Kodiak

Meet Kodiak, a 58 pound one year old female husky mix with a touching story. Kodiak was found wandering alone in a parking lot in Skokie. The caring officers of the Skokie Police Department took her in and kept her safe. Unfortunately, her owners never came forward to reclaim her. The officers contacted the Buddy Foundation and we took her in. Since arriving at Buddy, she has been learning basic commands like “sit”, practicing good leash manners and getting comfortable around the other Buddy dogs. She has a beautiful blonde coat and soulful brown eyes that melt hearts instantly. Despite her uncertain past, her sweet disposition shines through. She loves cuddling with the volunteers. With her warm nature and eagerness to learn, she is well on her way to the bright future she deserves. Won’t you be the family that gives her a chance? Come to meet her at the Buddy Foundation.
