Paws in the Park Dog Walk

Hello Buddy supporters,
One of our major shelter fundraisers --Paws in the Park --is taking place again this year at Melas Park in Mt. Prospect on September 10, 2023 from 9 AM to noon. There will be a dog walk around the track at the park, raffle prizes, a police dog demonstrations and sponsor booths. The Buddy Foundation is a 501C3 meaning that it is a non-profit charitable organization. We have no government funding and none of our volunteers are paid (unless you count dog kisses and cat purrs) . Paws in the Park and our various fundraisers help us raise money for the care of our animals. We can pay for their food, housing, medications, veterinary care and toys with what we raise. A majority of our dogs come from shelters that euthanize. We have taken in dogs that have been dumped in cornfields or left in cardboard boxes. We get a lot of kittens found abandoned by people, left at our door or from owner give ups due to a death in the family. All of our dogs and cats deserve a good home and once they arrive at Buddy we try to do just that. We cannot do it without your help. Please come to our event and bring your dog! We love to have people who adopt our dogs come back to let us see how much they have grown. Please share this page with family and friends. They might not be able to come to the event but they may want to donate to our cause.
