Meet Dallas, also known as Beans! He is a 10-poound, 1 year old chihuahua with a very outgoing personality. Beans is very energetic, and gets along well with other dogs. He loves to play with his stuffed squirrel toys. He’s the kind of dog that wants to be with you all the time, playing or curled up in your lap. He can be mischievous if he’s out of sight. He’s one spunky little guy!
Beans has been diagnosed with microvascular dysplasia, a congenital liver disorder characterized by underdeveloped microscopic portal blood vessels, most commonly affecting small-breed dogs. The vet says he can still live a long life, with or without medication. Currently, he is not on any medication. He may need medication in the future, or he may not. It’s kind of a wait and see if symptoms develop.
If Dallas (Beans) is the kind of dog that interests you, please call The Buddy Foundation for an appointment to meet him. He’s waiting for that special someone.
