Josie is a beautiful, petite, light grey tabby, with big eyes. She doesn't mind being petted once she feels comfortable with you. She will not be a lap cat at first, but a very patient person could help this kitty overcome her fears. Her original owner could pet and hold her. She will eat treats from your hand, but it will take time. Every step with her is rewarding.

Josie has been at the shelter for quite a while. She came to us after her owner (a volunteer) suddenly passed away. Josie lived with another cat who was much friendlier, and after they came to Buddy, the other cat got adopted and Josie was left behind. She currently lives in a room with other cats and would make a good companion for another cat in your household.
